Motorcade, Bagpipes Honor Bridgewater Firefighter Laid To Rest

The Finderne Fire Department shared a video of the moving bagpipe tribute for Bridgewater resident Thomas Marshall Sr.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A motorcade and bagpipe tribute honored Finderne Firefighter Thomas Marshall Sr. who was laid to rest on Monday with a full Firemen's service. (See video below)

Bridgewater Police Department, Berkeley Heights Police Department and Piscataway Police Department escorted the motorcade to the cemetery on Monday.

Marshall Sr. volunteered in Bridgewater Township for more than 44 years between the Finderne Rescue Squad and the Finderne Fire Department.

"Rest in peace brother, we've got it from here," the Finderne Fire Department

A Bridgewater resident, Marshall Sr. worked for the Department of Public Works for 16 years. He began his career with Bridgewater in the Parks Division and then moved on to the Buildings and Grounds Department and became Foreman of the division. He was responsible for the maintenance at all of the Township buildings.
