Multiple Bridgewater Roads To Be Repaved This Week

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — As part of the Somerset County Road Resurfacing Project multiple Bridgewater roads will be repaved this week.

Here is a look at the construction schedule:

Working Hours 7 a.m. to 4 p.m./Single Lane Closure 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

• Wed 3/24- Fri 4/2- ADA Curb Ramps on CR615 South Middlebush Road in Franklin
• Wed 3/24- Fri 3/26- ADA Curb Ramps on Millstone River Road in Montgomery & Georgetown Franklin Tpk in Montgomery

Milling and Paving Working Hours 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Somerset County

• Mon 3/29- Tues 3/30- CR640 Lyons Road in Bernards from Mount Airy Road to Church Street
• Wed 3/31- Thur 4/1- CR667 Elm Street in Branchburg from Pearl Street to Bridge C0601 & CR667 Pleasant Run Road from Maple Ave to River Road

Milling and Paving Working Hours 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Bridgewater Township:

• Tues 3/23- Paving Donald Drive
• Wed 3/24- Milling John Christian Drive and Wight Street
• Thur 3/25- Fri 3/26- Paving Vorhees Lane, John Christian Drive, Ron Court, and Wight Street

Somerset County also has a long list of roads that will also be repaved during the spring of 2021. Here are which roads are on the list:

• CR533 Millstone River Road in Montgomery from Bridge E0204 over Pike Run to Route 206
• CR525 Thompson Ave in Bound Brook from Route 22 to W. Union Ave
• CR616 Washington Valley Road in Bridgewater/Warren from 700’ east of Eastbrook Road to 800’ west of Morning Glory Road
• CR518 Georgetown Franklin Turnpike in Montgomery from 500’ west of Research Road to 250’ west of Pine Brae Court
• CR640 Lyons Road in Bernards from Mount Airy Road to Church Street
• CR667 Elm Street in Branchburg from Pearl Street to Bridge C0601
• CR667 Pleasant Run Road in Branchburg from Maple Ave to River Road
• CR615 South Middlebush Road in Franklin from Route 27 to 800’ north of Blackwells Road
• CR615 South Middlebush Road in Franklin from Buffa Drive to Amwell Road
• CR525 Mount Horeb Road in Bridgewater from Washington Valley Road to Tower Road

Additionally, municipal roads in Somerville will also be repaved including:

• Mercer Street from W. High Street to Route 22
• Davenport Street from W. High Street to Route 22

The following municipal roads will also be resurfaced in Bridgewater:

• Donald Drive from Thruway Drive to Thruway Drive
• John Christian Drive from Ron Court to Garretson Road
• Ron Court from John Christian Drive to End
• Voorhees Lane from Garretson Road to Municipal Right of Way past Stryker Ct.
• Wight Street from North Bridge Street to Hillside Ave

All of these projects are being conducted by Somerset County and are not associated with Bridgewater Township's own road pavement program. A list of roadways to be included in the township's plan is expected to announced next month.
