New Assistant Principal Appointed At Bridgewater-Raritan High School

BRIDGEWATER, NJ ? In the New Year, a new Assistant Principal will take their position at Bridgewater-Raritan High School.

The Supervisor of Mathematics and Business, Adam Leaman, was appointed to the new position by the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Board of Education at its Dec. 12 meeting.

Leaman will begin his new position following winter break on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024.

He will settle into the vacated office of Brian Smith, who left his position of Assistant Principal at Bridgewater-Raritan High School to assume the role of Assistant Principal at the Eisenhower Intermediate School. He will start on Jan. 2, as well.

Smith will replace Laura Zamrok, who retired from Eisenhower on Dec. 22.

Leaman has served as Bridgewater-Raritan High School?s Mathematics and Business Supervisor for a year and a half after he worked as the District Stem Supervisor in the South Hunterdon Regional School District for one year. Previously, he taught at Summit High School for eight years.

He received his Bachelor?s degree in Finance and Mathematics from Montclair State University, where he later earned two Master?s degrees?one in Educational Leadership and the other in Teaching.

Assistant Principal Leaman continues his ties with Montclair State where he is an adjunct professor in Mathematics.

He has relished his short tenure in Bridgewater-Raritan.

"Working within the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District for the past year and a half as the 9-12 Supervisor of Mathematics and Business has provided me the opportunity to work with amazing students, teachers, staff and administrators who walk the halls each day," Leaman said. "I am excited to continue these partnerships as I begin a new role at Bridgewater-Raritan High School."
