New Meal Prep Business, Rock Kitchen, Opens In Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater couple Julianna Auletta and Dino Roditis have launched a new meal prep business called Rock Kitchen for healthy, homemade prepared meals and snacks.

Originally from Long Island, Auletta and Roditis moved to Bridgewater about two years ago and took over Rock Deli at 568 Union Ave. Now they are putting their own spin on the business by expanding to offer a meal prep service.

"We noticed there were not many in the area and wanted to bring this to our community," said Auletta. "Our meal prep service will offer healthier options and everything is prepared by us in the kitchen at Rock Deli."

The idea for the meal prep service came from Auletta and Roditis' own life.

"We have super busy work schedules so it is hard for us to stay on track with eating the way we want," said Auletta. "We started meal prepping on Sundays for the week but I hate doing dishes."

Thus the idea to launch Rock Kitchen was born.

"This way you can get healthy home-cooked meals without shopping and doing dishes," said Auletta.

Currently, Rock Kitchen has about 30 meals including Honey Lemon Chicken Pasta, Mediterranean Bowl, Protein Waffles of Pancakes, Honey Glazed Salmon, and more. Meals can be purchased in bundles or a la carte.

"All of the recipes we own and created. They are recipes we made for ourselves in the past that we used to meal prep," said Auletta. "These are our favorites that we wanted to share with everyone."
