Oink And Moo BBQ Market Coming To Somerville
The new BBQ joint will be replacing Main Street Gourmet Deli in Downtown Somerville.

SOMERVILLE, NJ — Some bittersweet news for foodie fans in the area as Main Street Gourmet Deli is permanently closing and will soon reopen as Oink And Moo BBQ Market.
The deli had opened in 2019 but due to the coronavirus pandemic, Martinsville native Kevin Trimarchi, who also owns the deli and 22 West Tap & Grill, said he is closing up shop.
"The deli got completely squashed because of the pandemic," Trimarchi said. "We lost all of our corporate business until at least 2021."

The closure is not a complete loss as Trimarchi is teaming up with Oink and Moo BBQ owner Joshua Sacks to bring a new location to Somerville.
Sacks, who has a passion for barbeque food, began catering in 2011 and then opened his first food truck in 2012. He has since won awards for his food and later opened his first brick and mortar location in Hampton in Hunterdon County.

Sacks and Trimarchi are teaming up now to take over the Main Street Deli location at 63 W Main St. in Somerville.
"I'm very excited," Trimarchi said of the partnership. "[Sacks] has great BBQ food and I am looking forward to helping him get his brand out."
The concept will be a fast-casual BBQ restaurant as well as a one-stop BBQ market selling all the BBQ needs including charcoal, wood chips, grill tools and accessories, smokers, BBQ sauces, and BBQ rubs.
The joint will also offer raw meats — such as whole chickens, pork butts, ribs — to take home and throw on the grill as well as prepared family meals.
"Our initial focus will be on take-out and delivery until the world opens back up," Sacks said.
The market is expected to open sometime between mid-September to early-October.
