BOUND BROOK, NJ ? The Queens Bridge between Bound Brook and South Bound Brook will be closed indefinitely, announced Somerset County Public Safety on Thursday.

While the alert mentioned the bridge, the issue is connected to a broken sewage pipe on the underpass off the roundabout that leads to the bridge, said Somerset County Spokesman Brad Fay.

New Jersey American Water and its contractor have been working around the clock to clean it up and repair the broken sewage pipe, said Fay.
