School Bus With Students, SUV Collide In Bridgewater
None of the students on the school bus were injured and they were turned over to their parents at the scene, said police.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A school bus carrying Bridgewater-Raritan high school students and an SUV crashed on Thursday afternoon in Bridgewater.
A 2008 Thomas, full-size school bus and a black 2013 Mazda CX5 crashed around 12:08 p.m. near the Bridgewater-Raritan High School at the intersection of Commons Way and Garretson Road, said Bridgewater Polie Lt. Thomas Rice.
The juvenile driver of the Mazda CX5 and the front seat juvenile passenger both had injuries. The passenger was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital at Somerset for a leg injury. The driver’s injury was treated at the scene.

All of the students on the school bus were not injured and turned over to their parents at the scene, said Rice.
The crash is currently under investigation. Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to contact Officer Adam Giurlando at 908-722-4111 ext. 4043.
