Services Set For Bridgewater Man Who Died In I-78 Crash
A GoFundMe has been set up for Jonah A. Kreiss-Papalski, 29, of Bridgewater who is the son of a Manville High School teacher.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Funeral services have been set and funds are being raised for the family of a Bridgewater man who died following an early morning crash on I-78 in Bernards Township Thursday, Dec. 27.
Jonah A. Kreiss-Papalski, 29, of Bridgewater was the son to John Papalski and Mary Kreiss-Papalski, who is a Manville High School teacher.
A GoFundMe site has been set by Manville teachers at the school for the family to help cover funeral expenses.

Many shared their condolences on the Sheenan Funeral Home's tribute wall and on the GoFundMe page.
"Words can’t begin to describe the pain we are all feeling. Jonah was a kind, gentle sole. We all loved him dearly. My heart is broken for him and his family RIP dear Jonah. With deepest sympathy," wrote Sharon Reinen Mondoro.

"On behalf of Sunshine at Roosevelt School, we are very sorry for your loss and praying for you during this difficult time," wrote Erin Bolte.
"May you find strength and some peace at this awful time. So sorry to hear the tragic news about Jonah. Hold onto all of your happy memories. I will remember our time at Lake Ontario fondly. Sending love and praying for you all," wrote Pamela Clare.
Kreiss-Papalski was born in Plainfield but lived in Bridgewater for the last 25 years.
Surviving along with his parents are sisters, Katheryn Papalski of Bridgewater and Christine Papalski of Alabama, grandmother Barbara Kreiss, niece Aspen Jones and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, Jan. 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave, Dunellen. A funeral mass will take place on Thursday, Jan. 3 at 10 a.m. at St. Johns Church in Dunellen. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
