Somerset County 4-H Fair Celebrated Virtually Due To Coronavirus
The Somerset County 4-H Fair also announced dates for 2021.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Since 1947, this year was the first time in history that the Somerset County 4-H Fair had been canceled due to the coronavirus. Despite that, 4-H members, leaders, volunteers, and staff worked together virtually to celebrate the fair.
The 4-H team members created Celebrate the Great which included interactive games, live interviews, a massive member-submitted photo archive, food challenge videos, and more.
Ultimately, Celebrate the Great culminated with a grand finale video which included speeches from prominent Somerset County 4-H leaders, video submissions from followers, congratulations from Somerset County 4-H Freeholder Director Shanel Robinson, footage of the fairgrounds, and special appearances from past members, leaders, and staff.
