Somerset County 4-H Hosts First 'Jolly Gingerbread Challenge'
All submissions must be created with gingerbread but can be decorated with anything.

Somerset County 4-H is hosting their first ever online gingerbread contest to help bring people together virtually this Holiday season. Open to all youth in grades K-13 (one year out of high school), the challenge is an open opportunity for everyone to celebrate their imagination and get creative with friends and family.

All submissions must be created with gingerbread but can be decorated with anything including candy, craft supplies, etc. The ultimate design of the submission is entirely up to the participant and can be of a person, house, car, alien, or something else entirely!
"We hope this contest gives youth in our community a chance to have some fun and express their festive side in a safe environment. Everyone is looking forward to seeing all the amazing things they'll create!" said Yhannels Limongi, Somerset County 4-H Program Coordinator.

All entries can be emailed to 4histops@gmail.com before December 16th and must include an image of the gingerbread creation, the name of the child, and the grade they're in. Creations will be judged in three separate categories: PREP (K-3), Junior (4-7), and Teen (8-13). Final voting will take place online on December 18th.
