Somerset County To Pave Multiple Bridgewater Roads

Road work will continue through next Wednesday on multiple township roadways.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Somerset County will pave multiple roads in Bridgewater as part of the 2019 Road Resurfacing Project.

The construction will include re-milling the roads or removing the top layer of blacktop and replacing it with new asphalt.

  • Thursday: Brook Road from Country Club Road to Old Farm Road
  • Friday: Paving Blossom Drive from Washington Valley Road to 1,240-feet south of Washington Valley Road
  • May 11 to May 12: Paving Jaguar Lane from Steele Gap Road to End, Steele Gap Road from Foothill Road to 220-feet north of Jaguar Lane and Merriwood Road from Foothill Road to Crim Road
  • May 13: Paving Hawthorne Avenue from Shepard Avenue to Nagle Street

These roadways are part of the 2019 Road Resurfacing Agreement with Somerset County that was unfinished. Roadways to be included in the 2020 program will be announced sometime this summer, the township stated.
