Sometimes there's just not enough days in the week, but every Wednesday we'll give you an idea of something to do to relax, spend time with family and just take some time for yourself.
And with summer on its way, there is no better time to get some lessons on great summer activities offered through the Somerset County Park Commission.
First, the Warrenbrook Pool, on Warrenville Road in Warren, is hosting lessons at the only public outdoor swimming facility the county owns.

The pool will open for the season June 28 at 12 p.m., and will remain open seven days a week through Sept. 3.
The county is offering a variety of swimming lessons for all abilities, including Toddlers, Beginner I, Beginner II, Advanced Beginner and Intermediate. All classes run for two-week sessions, according to a release from the county.

The lessons are being held Monday through Friday for 40 minutes, either 10:15 a.m. to 10:55 a.m., or 11 a.m. to 11:40 a.m.
The class size is limited, and the cost for each is $60.
Lessons are being offered in three different sessions—July 1 through July 12, July 15 through July 26 and July 29 through Aug. 9.

If swimming isn’t your thing, maybe tennis lessons are the way to go at the Green Knoll Tennis Center on Garretson Road in Bridgewater and at the Colonial Park Tennis Center on Colonial Drive in East Millstone.
Lessons, according to the release, are available for Beginner, Beginner/Advanced Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced. They are a one-week lesson series, starting June 24 in Bridgewater and July 1 in East Millstone.
Lessons at Colonial Park will be from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and sessions at Green Knoll will be 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The fee is $60 per week at each facility and registration forms can be found at the centers or by calling 908-722-1200.
