Talent Show to Raise Funds in Memory of Late Student

The Kimberly A Nelson Foundation is holding its annual sing-off talent show.

It’s June, and that means it’s almost time for Bridgewater-Raritan High School’s annual talent show to support the Kimberly A. Nelson Foundation.

The foundation was started in memory of former student Kim Nelson, who died in 2009 from a brain aneurysm during her senior year.

This year’s show, changed to be called the Bridgewater Sing-off, will be held Monday.

Money raised from the show, sponsored by the Friends of the Foundation, is used to provide scholarships to students each year, as well as grants to the high school music program for needs outside the budget.

The show will be held Monday, with doors opening at 7 p.m., and the show itself beginning at 7:30 p.m.
