Somerset Patriots

The Somerset Patriots will face off against the Richmond Flying Squirrels on Saturday and Sunday at the TD Ballpark in Bridgwater. On Saturday at 7:05 p.m. patrons will receive a free t-shirt and there will be a post-game firework show.

On Sunday at 1:05 p.m., in celebration of Father's Day the first 1,000 dads will receive themed BBQ Aprons. Also, all dads, kids and their families in attendance will get to run the bases on the field after the game. For more information and tickets visit milb.com/somerset/tickets.

Magic Show

The amazing Kevin C. Carr will perform a wild and cool show on Friday at 8:30 p.m. at 22 West Tap and Grill at 1601 Route 22. Carr has a fantastic sleight-of-hand with cards, coins, cash and everyday objects as well as eye popping illusions, mind zapping mentalism. Food and Drink specials during show time. Food Truck Fest

The Manville/Hillsborough Food Truck Fest benefiting St. Ann's Classical Academy will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 1500 Brooks Blvd. in Manville.

In addition to great food, there will be some great activities including Hatchet Tossing from Throw House, boardwalk Style Games, Bounce Houses, Corn hole Face painters, and Live music from Naughty Humphrey and Grand Theft Audio.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children 4-10 at the door, $6 for adults and $4 for children in advance. Children under 3 are always free. For more information or to buy tickets click here.

The Big Bike Ride

Duke Farms at 1112 Dukes Parkway W in Hillsborough is hosting a bike ride to explore the property on Saturday from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The journey will begin at Bike Tent, then head out onto to complete a 5-mile circuit that will note the main points of interest. At each landmark, there will be a stop to discuss the history and ecological significance of the surroundings. The pacing will be slow to moderate, and riding will only be on fairly level paved pathways. Tickets for the class are $10 without bike rental. If renting a bike, it is an additional $7 for the rental, and this is paid the day of the program at the Bike Tent.
