Trump's Back In NJ, And Here For The Summer
Donald Trump left his digs in Florida and flew north to his golf club in Bedminster. A $250,000 per ticket fundraiser is set this weekend.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Former President Donald Trump has ditched his digs in Florida and set up residency at his golf club in Bedminster for the summer.
Trump flew up to his golf club off Lamington Road in Bedminster last week where he will stay through the early fall, a senior member of the former President's team told CNN.
Since leaving the White House in January during President Joe Biden's inauguration, Trump and his staff were residing at his private club in Mar-a-Largo in Palm Beach, Florida. However, the club closes just after Memorial Day each year.

Trump's extended stay in the Garden State is not unusual as he is known for spending his annual summer vacations at his golf club throughout his presidency usually in August.
In past summer vacations, Trump spent 10 days at the golf club in 2019, 11 days in 2018 and 18 days in 2017.
During his presidency, Trump spent 99 days at his golf club in Bedminster, which is more than at any of his other properties except Mar-a-Lago, where he has spent 133 days, according to nbcnews.com.
This time around his visit to his golf club is more strategic as businessinsider.com says Trump is considering a 2024 presidential run.
As such, the Bedminster golf club is situated in a better location for fundraising events and is only 50 miles from New York City and near many Republican donors.
