BEDMINSTER, NJ — Former President Donald Trump said he is suing Facebook, Google and Twitter for their "unlawful" censorship, making the announcement during a news conference Wednesday at his Bedminster golf club.
"We are asking the US District Court ... to order an immediate halt to social media companies' illegal shameful censorship of the American people and that's exactly what they are doing," Trump said.

"Our case will prove this censorship is unlawful, is unconstitutional and is completely un-American. We all know that very, very well," said Trump.
Trump said he is filing the suit as a class action against the social media companies and their CEOs, and believes this is the first of many lawsuits to be filed "to hold big tech accountable."
