SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — A winter storm watch has been issued for Somerset County from Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening by the National Weather Service.
Here is a look at what to expect this weekend:
Saturday: Snow after 11 a.m., mixing with rain after 4 p.m. High near 33. North wind 5 to 9 mph becoming east in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80 perent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Saturday Night: Snow before midnight, then rain and snow between midnight and 1 a.m., then rain after 1 a.m. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 31. East wind 11 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
Sunday: Rain, snow, freezing rain, and sleet before 11 a.m., then snow and freezing rain between 11 a.m. and noon, then snow after noon. High near 31. North wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Sunday Night: A chance of snow before 8 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 5. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
