COVID-19 Vaccinations To Continue At 4 Burlington County Clinics
With the state's mega-site at the Moorestown Mall set to close in July, the county has set up four fixed clinics to continue vaccinations.
BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — With New Jersey’s COVID-19 Vaccination Mega-Site at the Moorestown Mall set to close next month, Burlington County has set up four new fixed vaccine sites so that residents can continue to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.
“We’ve made incredible progress in getting people vaccinated and we’ve seen the results in our low COVID-19 case numbers, but we’re not done yet,” Burlington County Health Director Dr. Herb Conaway said. “The most effective action anyone can take to protect themselves and their family, friends and co-workers is to roll up your sleeve and get vaccinated, so we will continue to do everything possible to make that process as easy as possible.”
Beginning this week, clinics are set up in the following locations, running on the following schedules:

Earlier this month, Gov. Phil Murphy announced the state would be closing its six mega-sites and transitioning to a more local effort for administering vaccines. This announcement came as the vaccine became more prevalent throughout the state. Read more here: NJ COVID Vaccine Mega-Sites Will End
The mega-site currently opened at the former Lord & Taylor store in the Moorestown Mall is set to offer its last round of booster doses on July 23. The last round of initial doses will be administered on July 1. There continues to be other ways to get vaccinated in the county, as well.
The mobile vaccination program will continue to offer shots to homebound residents, people without homes and residents and workers at domestic violence shelters. It also offers pop-up vaccination clinics throughout the county. The Deborah Heart & Lung Center will host a pop-up clinic at the Deborah Specialty Physicians office, 811 Sunset Road, Suite 102, in Burlington Township, in partnership with Rep. Andy Kim and State Senators Dawn Addiego and Troy Singleton.
That clinic will take place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., June 28. Pfizer vaccine will be administered to anyone 12 years old and older, and free dinners will be given to those receiving shots.
As of Monday, more than 227,000 Burlington County residents have been fully vaccinated, amounting to more than 55 percent of county residents 12 and older. About 59 percent of all Burlington County adults 18-and-up, and 84 percent of those 65 or older have been vaccinated, officials said.
“From the very beginning of this pandemic, our County has made it our top priority to deliver the assistance our residents and businesses needed to get through this crisis and the vaccination effort has been one of our biggest successes,” Burlington County Commissioner Deputy Director Dan O’Connell, liaison to the Health Department, said. “We’ve worked with a host of partners, including Virtua, Deborah, the State of New Jersey and numerous local municipalities and nonprofit groups, to get hundreds of thousands of our residents vaccinated. Our Board extends are thanks to these partners for the outstanding success we’ve enjoyed here. Now we’re looking to finish the job and get those remaining the protection that vaccines provide.”
