Amazon To Open Delivery Center In Delran
Amazon is opening five new delivery centers in New Jersey, including two in Burlington County.
DELRAN, NJ — Amazon plans to open a new delivery site in Delran, the company announced on Thursday. It is one of five new delivery sites coming to New Jersey, and one of two in Burlington County. The other Burlington County site will be in Bordentown Township.
Amazon delivery sites offer entrepreneurs the opportunity to set up their own business delivering Amazon packages, according to a statement from the company. They also offer independent contractors the chance to set their own schedule delivering for Amazon Flex.
The company says the centers help speed up the delivery process for customers. Packages are shipped to a delivery station from neighboring Amazon Fulfillment and Sortation Centers, loaded into delivery vehicles and delivered to customers.
