BOE Recognizing Cinnaminson Teachers, Staff
Here's a preview of what's on the board of education's plate Tuesday night.
The Cinnaminson Board of Education meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in room 120 at the middle school.
There are several items on the agenda, including:
- The board will recognize 10 teachers and school staff members for two separate honors. The following individuals are recipients of the district's Teacher/Educational Services Recognition Program:Â
- Carol A. Kremus, New Albany Elementary School
- Bethany M. Nelson, Rush Intermediate School
- Diana M. Maloney, middle school
- Jennifer Alvarado, high school
- The following staff members will each receive a Board of Education Achievement Award:
- Maria L. Ruppert, New Albany
- Linda M. Conn, Rush
- Diane McKeen, middle school
- Carlo A. Iacono, high school
- Lorraine A. Zona, Memorial School
- Thomas L. McHugh III, Operations Department
- The board will also recognize retiring board member . Superintendent Salvatore Illuzzi said the district has received a number of applications for the vacant seat from individuals with varying experience. The deadline for applications was Friday (May 10), and the board is not expected to make any decisions regarding the vacancy Tuesday.
- The board will accept the resignation of fifth-grade Rush School teacher Diana Bisinger, who is retiring after 21.5 years with Cinnaminson School District. Her retirement is effective June 30.
- The board will approve the appointment of Barbara Scola as the director of special services, effective July 1, at a salary of $120,000. Scola replaces Dr. Loyola Garcia, who is retiring.Â
