Children Of Inspiration: Share Your Story With Patch

It’s been a year since the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, prompted a movement among teenagers to focus on gun control laws. David Hogg was a visible leader of the movement and an inspiration to many teens across the country.

That was a big movement, but Patch is wondering: who are the everyday inspirations in your child’s school? For example, two students in my child’s classroom wrote and illustrated a 12-page book.

They packaged it as a book one might find at Barnes and Noble, with a cover, table of contents, about the author section … the whole nine yards. They presented it to the class. Before you know it, other students in the class were picking up their pencils and writing their own books.
