Cinnaminson Girls Basketball Team Gets Back On Winning Track
After losing their first game to West Deptford over the weekend, the Pirates defeated Pemberton Monday night, according to nj.com.
CINNAMINSON, NJ — The Cinnaminson High School girls basketball team rebounded from its first loss of the season with 37-point road victory at home Monday night.
Cinnaminson opened the season with six straight victories, but suffered its first defeat in a trip to West Deptford over the weekend, according to nj.com. The Pirates lead after three quarters, but fell victim to an Eagles’ comeback, as West Deptford picked up the 39-35 win on Saturday.
On Monday night, Cinnaminson once again took a lead, but it was one they never relinquished in a 57-20 win over Pemberton, according to nj.com. Kayla Caban was the lead scorer for the Pirates in both games, scoring 11 against West Deptford and 14 against Pemberton.

After that, the Pirates defeated Robbinsville, 42-28, and district rival Delran, 47-23, according to nj.com. Emily Mulligan lead the way with 16 points in the win over Robbinsville. Mulligan and Rhochele Johnson each had 11 points in the win over Delran.

The Pirates (7-1) return to the court at 6:15 p.m. Thursday night at Burlington Township (6-2).
