Cinnaminson High School Softball Team Has 6 Wins Through 10 Games
The season started with a no-hitter against Sterling, according to nj.com.
CINNAMINSON, NJ - After a 5-0 start, the Cinnaminson High School softball team is 6-4 through 10 games this season, according to nj.com.
Riece Oronato opened the season with a no-hitter, striking out 10 batters in Cinnaminson’s 10-0 win over Sterling on April 1. She also went 4-for-4 at the plate.
Onorato hit a two-run double in the top of the seventh to break a tie in Cinnaminson’s 5-3 win over rival Delran on April 3. She was also the winning pitcher, striking out nine batters in a complete game win.

Payton McNair’s walk-off double in the bottom of the eighth was the deciding run in Cinnaminson’s 2-1 win over Westampton Tech on April 4. Onorato struck out 10 batters to pick up the win.
Cinnaminson’s bats exploded in a 19-3 win over Pemberton on April 6. The score was 1-1 after one, but the Pirates came alive for nine runs in the second and never looked back.

McNair was 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles in Cinnaminson’s 10-1 win over Holy Cross on April 8. Onorato also had a double and struck out nine batters in seven innings of work for the win. Maddie Figiel was 4-for-5 with a double as the Pirates picked up their fifth win in the first eight days of the season.
Since then, the Pirates have won only once, defeating Maple Shade 7-5 on April 17. Cinnaminson had three runs in the top of the seventh to break the tie and hold on for the win. Figiel was 1-for-3 with a triple and was hit by a pitch. Onorato was the winner with eight strikeouts in seven innings, and she was 3-for-4 with a double.
