Cinnaminson Middle School Goes 'Into The Woods' In New Show
"Into the Woods Jr." brings fairy tale characters to life in a show about a baker and his wife who have been cursed by a witch.
CINNAMINSON, NJ — The Cinnaminson Middle School Pirate Players are bringing to life everyone’s favorite fairy tale characters in their production of “Into the Woods Jr.” later this month.
In the show, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Little Red Riding Hood are all intertwined in a tale centered around a baker and his wife who have been cursed by a witch. It is an adaptation of a Tony Award-winning musical that runs about an hour.
The show is double-cast and includes 70+ students between the two casts and crew. Performances will take place at 8 p.m. on Feb. 28, 29, March 6 and March 7. There are also matinées at 2 p.m. on March 1 and 7. All shows will be at the Cinnaminson Middle School Auditorium, 312 North Forklanding Road.

Tickets are $5 for students, $8 for adults, and free for senior citizens. Tickets are only available at the door. In lieu of buying a ticket for the Feb. 29 show, guests may bring in non-perishable food items that will be donated to the Bread of Life Food Pantry in Palmyra.
