Cinnaminson Police Bust The Grinch In Popular Holiday Video
Cinnaminson police posted a video of a man dressed as The Grinch being busted by police after "stealing" from Toys for Tots.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — The Grinch was at it again, once again trying to steal Christmas. But this time, he chose the wrong town to mess with.
The Cinnaminson Township Police Department posted a holiday video on its Facebook page this week of a man dressed as The Grinch.
Set to Christmas music and the themes of the classic cartoon and the Fox TV show, “Cops,” the video tells the vivid tale of The Grinch attempting to steal toys from the Toys for Tots collection site at the police station.

The video ends with The Grinch being booked, sitting in a jail cell to think about ways he can grow his heart two sizes bigger.

"Surveillance footage catches a tall green male dressed as Santa Claus stealing toys from the lobby," police said in the post for the joke video. "Luckily, Sgt. Curran and Squad "A" were on the case. All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law."
The video can be seen on the Cinnaminson Township Police Department Facebook page. It has become very popular, and was even featured by a New York City television station, Cinnaminson Police Chief Richard Calabrese.
“I am very proud of every Cinnaminson Township Police officer and for their continued initiatives in bringing a positive light on law enforcement and our department,” Calabrese said in an email to Patch.
In addition to the video, Cinnaminson police participated in this year’s Burlington County Sheriff’s Department’s Toy Drive, the most successful in its history, according to county officials. The library also served as a drop-off site. Read more here: Toys For Tots Donates Truckloads Of Bikes To Sheriff’s Toy Drive
