Cinnaminson Residents Sound Off on Snow Plowing

How have the roads in your neighborhood fared during the blizzard? Find out what your neighbors said on Facebook.

Winter Storm Jonas brought between two to three feet of snow to New Jersey causing approximately 90,000 power outages and coastal flooding in the southern part of the state.

As of Monday, the State of Emergency has been lifted, power has been restored to most of N.J. and bridges and tunnels to New York City have been reopened.

Still, hundreds of New Jersey school districts announced closures and motorists are warned to drive with extra caution.

We asked Patch readers if happy they were with the plowing done on their block. Here’s what you said:

  • “Yes. Those guys worked 26 hours straight. Very thankful for clear roads.”
  • “No. They came hours later, around noon, on the first day of the blizzard, and normally, they are around the clock! ”
  • “I don’t know what happened to River Road, but from Delanco Bridge to Rte. 73, the worst stretch of the road is through Cinnaminson. All that brine they put down apparently melted the snow, then froze, making it a bumpy, frozen mess.”
  • “Cinnaminson did a fabulous job!“
  • “No. They only plowed one pass down one side of the street. Had to dig out a good 10 feet in front of my driveway.”
  • “Great job! Thanks much!”
  • “Could use another pass, but good job guys. That was a lot of snow”
