Cinnaminson, Riverton 4th Of July Festivities 2020 Canceled
Cinnaminson's traditional Fourth of July events may be canceled, but there are several other ways you can celebrate the holiday safely.
CINNAMINSON, NJ — July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel the annual Fourth of July events, including Cinnaminson and Riverton. Cinnaminson traditionally shares in Riverton's Fourth of July celebration.
Although many of Riverton's events have been canceled, many of them will still be held virtually. This includes the creation of a town-wide 4th of July Celebration Video, which will be made on June 30. It will include a montage of memories from previous 4th of July events.
There will be a Virtual Pet Pageant from July 1-4, a House Decorating Contest from noon to 1 p.m. on July 3 and a town-wide picnic from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on July 4. The 4th of July Fashion Contest will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on July 4, with participants posting their photos on Facebook or Instagram on the 4th using hashtag #rvt4thfashion for a chance to win prizes.
