Cinnaminson To Spend $1.4M On Improvements, Equipment
Cinnaminson Township Committee introduced a proposed $1.4 million bond ordinance at its April 26 meeting.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Cinnaminson Township Committee set forth a list of proposed capital improvement projects when it introduced a $1.4 million bond ordinance at its April 26 meeting.
The proposed bond ordinance sets aside $1,495,000, including the borrowing of $1,420,250 in bonds or notes for the purchase of various pieces of equipment, and the completion of various improvement projects in the township.
There is a down payment of $74,750. The proposal includes:

- $1,150,000 for street improvements;
- $185,000 for the purchase of various heavy equipment, including a backhoe and a front end loader;
- $90,000 for upgrades to township parks and recreation areas;
- $25,000 for the purchase of equipment for the Public Safety Department, including tasers;
- $20,000 for improvements to township buildings, including repairs to the library;
- $15,000 for the purchase of equipment for the Department of Public Works, including a tire mounting machine and an oil filter canister press; and
- $10,000 for the purchase of computers and related equipment.
Township Committee unanimously approved the proposed bond ordinance on introduction, with a public hearing and final vote set for May 17.
