Eight & Sand Beer Co. to #BrewStacheStrong for Brain Cancer Research

Eight & Sand Beer Co. is participating in the national #BrewStacheStrong beer collaboration in solidarity with 200+ other craft breweries. This campaign will raise vital funds and much needed awareness for brain cancer research. Participating #BrewStacheStrong breweries will raise money through sales of their limited-edition *SMASH for STACHE *. A portion of proceeds from all beer sales will benefit StacheStrong’s mission.

Eight & Sand Beer Co.’s *SMASH for STACHE (6% ABV) is a single malt and single hop IPA. They used Vienna malt that was generously donated by Proximity Malt and Barbe Rouge hops that adds ripe red fruit flavors of currant, strawberry, and raspberry. You can find the *SMASH for STACHE at Eight & Sand Beer Co.’s taproom as well as many liquor stores, bars and restaurants throughout NJ.

Student Day: Doolittle’s Raid

On 18 April 1942, 16 B25B Mitchell Bombers took off from USS Hornet as the first strike on the Japanese islands in response to Pearl Harbor. For the strike, crews removed parts of their planes in order to make their planes light enough to make the long flight.
During Battleship New Jersey’s Student Days on April 23 and 28 from 9am to 11am, the Battleship will offer free tours and classes to students and parents. But register soon, they are accepting a maximum of 20 people total for each Student Day.
