WESTAMPTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — While many folks have four-legged pals to share their homes, Patch is kicking off an effort we hope you'll join: We want to help 1,000 dogs in New Jersey and Pennsylvania find their forever homes.

As part of that effort, we will be highlighting dogs that currently are waiting in shelters for someone to adopt them. Dogs like Junior. He's currently at the Burlington County Animal Shelter, and he's ready to find his forever home.

He is a 3-year-old neutered male who came up for adoption after his owner was no longer able to take care of him.

"Junior is an awesome guy! He has been in foster care with a shelter volunteer who has worked with him, and he has such wonderful manners," the shelter said.
