Cinnaminson Memorial Day Ceremony Set For May 28
The ceremony will take place, based on the latest guidance, and in consultation with township professionals, the deputy mayor said.
CINNAMINSON, NJ — After a one-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, Cinnaminson Township has made the decision to host a Memorial Day Ceremony, township officials announced Friday night.
It will take place on May 28, 5 p.m. in front of the Municipal Building, 1621 Riverton Road in Cinnaminson.
“The service will honor the heroism of the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defending our country,” the township said in a statement. “Participants will include Township Committee Members, local emergency responders and several community members. The public is encouraged to attend.”

"Based upon the latest guidance and executive orders related to the ongoing health pandemic, and in consultation with our professionals, the Township Committee is very excited to host another event which will honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice," Deputy Mayor Stephanie Kravil, liaison to Veterans Affairs, said.
Earlier in the week, Township Manager Eric Schubiger told Patch that after careful consideration, the service was being canceled. However, things are beginning to return to normal, and that process accelerated this week.
