Princeton AD, a Cinnaminson Native, Dies
Joe Miranda played baseball and football, and ran track at Riverside High School.

Princeton, NJ -- Princeton High School Athletic Director John Miranda died suddenly on Sunday night, the school district announced on its website.
The Cinnaminson native was 57 years old, according to Planet Princeton. He attended Riverside High School, where he played football and baseball, and ran track.
He earned his Master’s in Education from Temple University, and held a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Wilkes College, according to the website.

He was a First Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps, and served in Iraq as a Marine Corps Reserve.
Miranda started as a business education teacher at Princeton High School in 1993. He became the athletic director and supervisor of health and physical education in 2005.
He coached the Princeton High School baseball team from 1996-2004. As athletic director, Miranda spearheaded the homecoming initiative that began three years ago.

He had three sons, who all were outstanding athletes and graduates of Princeton High School.
