South Jersey Teen To Appear On AMC's 'The Walking Dead'
Jadyn Krouse, of Medford, will appear in an upcoming episode of the series, according to published reports.

“The Walking Dead” returns to AMC for its ninth season in October, and fans of the horror show are excited. Anyone who looks closely at the background during a “pivotal scene” may see a familiar face. A young face that overcame adversity to make it to the small screen.
Jadyn Krouse, 13, of Medford, has been cast as an extra in the upcoming season of the zombie series based on a comic book of the same name. She tells the Burlington County Times she will appear in a “pivotal scene,” but is not permitted to reveal any more information.
The episode, which the eighth grader says is “one people will be talking about,” is set to air early next year. She filmed the scene in Atlanta earlier this year, according to the report.

She’s been acting since she was eight years old. She already has a film credit on IMDB as a “student” in the short film “Bathroom Troll,” the story of a demon who attempts to help a student get revenge after she is tormented for “not looking like a girl” in the school bathroom. This will be her first appearance on the small screen, and she overcame adversity to get there.
Last year, she was diagnosed with Scheuermann’s kyphosis, which means different parts of her vertebrae were developing at different rates, according to the Courier Post. She had to undergo surgery.

She returned to the stage in the spring, according to the report. In the summer, she attended a performing arts camp in New York that counts among its alumni Zach Braff, Natalie Portman and Robert Downey Jr., among others.
The ninth season premiere for “The Walking Dead,” which airs at 9 p.m. Sundays on AMC, is set for Oct. 7. Check out the trailer for the season below.
