St. Charles Borromeo Student Completes Suzuki Piano Book II Training

A St. Charles Borromeo School student who has been playing classical piano half her life completed her Suzuki Piano Book II Graduation on Feb. 1.

Giovanna “Gigi” Pocius played the entire book by memory with an additional show off piece, “Sonatina in C Major, Op. 36, No. 1” by Muzio Clementi.

Pocius began playing at the age of five under the direction of Mrs. Anne Jadwin at Moorestown School of Music. She is 10 years old.

Pocius is currently in fifth grade with Mrs. Meyer and her music teacher is Mr. Joeram Nuarin.

She is an honor roll student, an Altar Server and a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Children’s Choir.
