There will be three movies screened at Wood Park this summer.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — The Cinnaminson Police Department will host the Cinema Under the Stars movie series this summer at Wood Park. There will be three movies screened beginning later this month.

First up is “The Sandlot,” on Friday night, June 22. The movie tells the story of Scottie Smalls, the new kid in town who makes friends with a group of kids who play baseball at the sandlot. The boys run into trouble when Smalls borrows a ball from his stepdad that gets hit over a fence.

In keeping with the theme of the movie, attendees can test out their fastball at the speed pitch inflatable before the film begins.
