The Cinnaminson Planning Board has granted preliminary and final site plan approval for Westrum's assisted living facility.
CINNAMINSON, NJ — The Cinnaminson Planning Board has granted preliminary and final site plan approval for Westrum’s independent living, personal care and memory care community, township officials announced.
Westrum’s 54,200 square-foot assisted living home will include “Main Street” living, upscale dining options, recreational activities, on-site medical services and free shuttle service to local community services.
It is part of the township’s efforts to redevelop the site of the former Garden State Inn and Azalea Farm near the intersection of Route 130 South and Highland Avenue.

The home will cover 3.586 acres of land. Westrum Development Company has over 30 years of experience with developing distinctive, integrated age-in-place senior living communities, according to the township.
The company’s mission is to focus on the housing needs and wants of ever-changing demographics.
“The recent approval is another example of the continued successful development efforts of Township Committee and the Township’s Economic Development Committee,” township officials said in a statement. “The project will greatly contribute to the Township’s diverse housing stock.”
