Monday, July 29
Make and Take Mondays! Kids ages 4 to 12 are invited to pop into the library at any time on Mondays to create a craft that is out of this world based on our summer theme A Universe of Stories! This week’s craft is Handprint Rockets- use your hand to create an amazing rocket.
The Open Book Club, 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: This month, we will be discussing Something in the Water by Catherine Steadman. The Book Group meets in the Cinnaminson Branch Library meeting room the last Monday of every month, 2:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M., unless otherwise noted. New members are always welcome.

Tuesday, July 30
Tai Chi, 10:30 a.m. to noon: This is a beginner’s course in Qigong and Tai Chi, slow, gentle forms of exercise that help increase energy, flexibility, balance and body awareness. Those who suffer from bad posture, stiff joints, tension and instability should find the course especially helpful. No special equipment or attire required other than loose-fitting clothing and soft, flat-bottom shoes. This program is for adults only.
Insectropolis — Bugs on the Go, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.: Through dynamic and interactive presentations, participants will gain an understanding of the structure, characteristics, and basic needs of these often-misunderstood tiny animals. The program will encourage guests to investigate and celebrate the diversity of life. Live animals may include: Hissing Cockroach, Giant Millipede, Emperor Scorpion, Rosehair Tarantula For ages 4 and up. Registration is not required.

Laughter Yoga, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Laughter Yoga is a whole body, well-being workout that uses intentional laughter, breathing, mindfulness, and gentle movement to promote a healthy, joyful and vibrant life. It's uplifting, energizing and fun! There are no yoga poses involved. The yoga aspect is the deep breathing and mindfulness that we include. The program is wonderful for friendly connection, stress relief and can also help ease anxiety & mild depression, while also being a form of exercise. We do not use jokes or comedy and you do not need to be flexible or funny. You can even participate in a chair. Please bring water and a willingness to be playful and have fun!

Scrabble Club, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Do you love a good game of Scrabble? Look no further. You have found kindred spirits with the new Scrabble Club forming at the Cinnaminson Library. Players of all levels and all ages are welcome to drop in, and we hope, stick around. It's stimulating, educational and most of all, lots of fun!
The Writers' Critique Group , 6 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.: Have you always wanted to write and sell a book? Have you started or finished your first draft? Bring along your work-in-progress for a helpful and inspiring group critique.
Thursday, Aug. 1
Steminist Superstars: Jocelyn Bell : For ages 7 and up, stop by the STEM cart to learn about Jocelyn Bell and and make a craft to take home! Available all month.
Friday, Aug. 2
The Writer's Clinic, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: If you need help with writing tasks like:
- Resumes
- Cover Letters
- Filling out Forms (except for legal, financial and tax documents)
- Writing Projects (i.e. toasts, speeches, reports, essays, etc.)
- College Papers
- Letters
