Winter Storm Causing Traffic Issues In South Jersey Monday

As a winter storm blankets New Jersey, Patch is keeping an eye on traffic conditions across the state. State officials are reporting travel advisories and crashes in South Jersey as parts of the region have seen more than 5 inches of snow, with more expected on Monday. Here are some of the travel advisories in place in South Jersey:

  • There is a ban in place on empty tractor trailers and commercial vehicles in both directions on I-276 West of the Delaware River Bridge in Burlington Township;
  • Drivers are advised to expect delays on all bridges between New Jersey and Pennsylvania due to inclement weather;
  • The southside footwalk on the Ben Franklin Bridge until further notice;
  • There's a crash with injuries and a vehicle off the road on the I-295 South ramp to Exit 34 for Route 70 in Cherry Hill. Right lanes and shoulder are closed. Drivers are advised to use caution;
  • There's a crash on the Atlantic City Expressway Westbound, east of Exit 41 for Berlin-Cross Keys Road in Winslow Township. The right lane is closed. Drivers should use caution and move over for emergency vehicles;
  • There's a crash on I-676 Northbound, south of Exit 3 for Morgan Boulevard in Camden. The right shoulder is closed; and
  • There's a vehicle off the road on I-295 north, south of Exit 52 for Columbus Road in Florence. The left lane is closed.
