Allentown Man Charged In Metuchen Bank Theft: Police
Robert Nuccio, 52, fraudulently withdrew around $13,000 from the TD Bank in Metuchen after he displayed a fake driver's license.
METUCHEN, NJ – An Allentown man was charged with theft from a bank in Metuchen, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Metuchen Police Chief David Irizarry announced Tuesday.
Robert Nuccio, 52, was arrested and charged with two counts of identity theft, two counts of forgery, two counts of false government documents, one count of theft by deception, one count of attempted theft by deception, one count resisting arrest, and one count of hindering apprehension following an investigation by officers of the Metuchen Police Department.
According to the police, on Jan. 9, Nuccio fraudulently withdrew around $13,000 from the TD Bank in Metuchen after he displayed a fake driver’s license bearing another person’s identifying information.

On Jan. 10, Nuccio returned to the bank in an attempt withdraw an additional $7,500 where he again displayed a fake driver’s license, said the police.
He was arrested following a foot chase by responding patrol officers as he left the bank.

Nuccio is currently lodged at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center, pending a detention hearing in Superior Court.
