New Lidl Grocery Store Proposed For Edison
The Planning Board will discuss the application on July 12.
EDISON, NJ — German discount retail chain Lidl has applied for site plan approval in Edison. The township Planning Board is expected to disucss the application on July 12.
Lidl plans to construct a 29,640 square feet grocery store on Plainfield Avenue. Variances are being sought for loading spaces, parking spots, minimum sign areas among others. To check out the agenda for July 12, click here.
If approved this will be Lidl’s third store in Middlesex County with locations already in Woodbridge and North Brunswick.

The retail grocery store recently opened a new location in Lawrenceville.
The July 12 in-person meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., at the Municipal Complex, 100 Municipal Blvd.
