Amazon Announces New Delivery Station In Edison
The company will be adding five new locations in New Jersey, as it continues to invest in the state.
EDISON, NJ — Edison Township will be soon be home to a new Amazon delivery station, the company announced Wednesday.
The new location is at 1115 King Georges Post Road.
The retail giant said it has signed new leases in five New Jersey towns for delivery stations. They are:

- 2473 Old York Road - Building 1 Bordentown, NJ
- 343 Half Acre Road, Cranbury – AMXL delivery station
- 400 Delran Parkway, Delran
- 1115 King Georges Post Rd, Edison
- 10 Princess Road, Lawrence Township
“We are excited to continue to invest in the state of New Jersey with new delivery stations that will provide efficient delivery for customers and create hundreds of job opportunities for the talented workforce,” Amazon spokesperson Emily Hawkins said in a media statement.
“These new delivery stations represent Amazon’s unwavering commitment to safety, technological innovation, and skilled teams who are obsessed with delivering for our customers.”

Packages are shipped to a delivery station from neighboring Amazon Fulfillment and Sortation Centers, loaded into delivery vehicles and delivered to customers.
The new standard delivery stations are designed to accommodate the company’s electric delivery vehicles.
Amazon said it has invested more than $14.5 billion across New Jersey, including infrastructure and compensation.
On Wednesday, the company officially opened its new delivery station in Linden.
