Chipotle Opening In Metuchen This Week
The borough's first Chipotle will open this week.
METUCHEN, NJ — Chipotle is opening a new restaurant in Metuchen next month, a spokesperson for the chain confirmed to Patch.
The 396 Lake Ave store will open on Thursday, March 8, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. It will be open daily from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. There is also a Jersey Mike's and Title Boxing Club in the building, which is near the new Whole Foods.
Chipotle serves customizable burritos, burrito bowls, salads, and tacos.

This will be the borough's first Chipotle. Previously the closest Chipotle was in Menlo Park Mall in Edison.
