Community Food Drive In Edison
The drive will support 30 community groups, businesses, schools, churches and unions in Edison and surrounding communities.
EDISON, NJ — The South Edison Community Association (SECA) will host a food drive on Sep. 26, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. outside Edison High School, Boulevard of the Eagles, off Old Post Road
This drive is being organized for the Hands of Hope food pantry, and will support 30 community groups, businesses, schools, churches and unions. In May the SECA held its first food drive, where it collected 20 truckloads of non-perishable food and cash donations for the food pantry at St. James Episcopal Church.
The SECA also sent several truckloads of food to the Middlesex County Food Bank (McFoods) that aids 130 other countywide food pantries, churches and non-profits.
