Downed Wires Closes Rt. 27 In Edison
Breaking: It's not clear when the wires will be removed.
EDISON, NJ — Downed wires have closed a section of Route 27 in Edison Thursday afternoon, police said.
Rt. 27 between Grove Ave and Parsonage Road is closed Thursday afternoon as of 1:59 p.m., Metuchen police said. They did not say when the road was expected to reopen. There do not appear to be any power outages as a result of the downed wires.
Drivers should plan an alternate route.
