Edison Girl, 6, Sobs In Despair After Eagles Lose To Saints
This James Monroe first grader is also an Edison Jets cheerleader. She was inconsolable after the Eagles' tough loss Sunday; watch the video

EDISON, NJ — And you thought you were sad when the Eagles lost on Sunday.
This six-year-old Edison first grader, Giavonna Innamorato, cried tears of despair when the Philadelphia Eagles fell in a heartbreaking 14-20 loss to the New Orleans Saints this past Sunday, Jan. 13, losing their chance at the Super Bowl this year. Yes, her tears were real, mom Jennifer Innamorato tells Patch: Giavonna is simply a huge Eagles fan. Sunday night also happened to be an Eagles-themed birthday party for her mother.
"We watch the games every week," said Giavonna's mother. "She became a fan because I am a huge fan. She is a cheerleader for the Edison Jets and wants to be an Eagles cheerleader (when she grows up.) She was crying her eyes out, and we had to have her grandfather take her to the store to get her a toy to stop crying."

To make matters worse, Giovanna was convinced the Eagles would win Sunday's game because she watched this video from Kevin Hart predicting they would win.
"So she was convinced they wouldn't lose," said her mother, who can be heard telling her daughter, "It's just a game, it's just a game."
