Edison To Host Pop-Up COVID Vaccine Clinic
The township will utilize Senior Citizens Transportation to help seniors travel to and from the clinic.

EDISON, NJ — The Township of Edison has partnered with the Jewish Renaissance Foundation (JRF) Community Health Center to host a pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic, beginning Wednesday.
The clinic will be held at the Edison Township Senior Center located at 2963 Woodbridge Avenue and will be held for the next four Wednesdays.
The Moderna vaccine will be administered at the clinic and is available to everyone 18 years and older.

Appointments are required. Residents can register at the JRF website: www.jrfnj.org/chc, or the township‘s website: www.EdisonNJ.org.

Edison recently purchased a new pharmaceutical-grade refrigerator and freezer to store the vaccines in compliance with the CDC guidelines, Mayor Thomas Lankey said in a media release.
The clinic will be staffed by employees from Edison’s Department of Health and the JRF. Vaccines will be administered by medical professionals from JRF.
Edison is also working closely with the Senior Citizens complexes to ensure residents are able to receive the vaccine.
The Township will utilize its existing Senior Citizens Transportation System to provide round-trip transportation to the residents of these complexes.
