Here's a partial list of summer camps happening around Edison-Metuchen this year.
EDISON, NJ - After a year when too many traditions have had to be canceled for coronavirus safety, summer camps for kids are back on this year. The state has issued updated guidance on how these camps can safely operate during the coronavirus pandemic.
There are several options to keep the kids busy this summer around the area, including town-sponsored camps, arts camps, sports camps, and more.

YMCA of Edison, Metuchen: The YMCA is offering summer camps this year with added COVID safety regulations. Camp begins June 21, with various activities planned. However, due to COVID-19 field trips have been canceled. Parents can register for an in-person or virtual open house to learn more about the programs offered this year and the safety protocol put in place.
STEM Academy Summer Camp: STEM Academy for Youn Kids in Edison has various activities for their summer camp, including robotics, computer programming, engineering, and more. There are two camps offered — one for children aged 4 to 5 years and the other for those aged 6 to 13. Children will be grouped according to their age and grade and will get to participate in various activities.

Inman Sports Club: This massive indoor recreation facility in Edison now offers summer camps. Open to kids ages 6-16 and hours are 8:30 - 4 p.m. Activities include Miniature Golf, Driving Range, Tennis, Hockey, Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Baseball, Swimming, Rollerblading, Ping-Pong, Arts and Crafts, Movies, Games and much, much more. The daily schedule may vary according to weather conditions.
The SportsPlex at Metuchen: They offer a multi-sport summer camp for 5-14; a basketball-only summer camp and a counselor-in-training certification program for 14-17 years old.
