Edison Restaurants Nominated For Garden State Culinary Award
Skylark Diner and Swagath Gourmet were both nominated for the Best Neighborhood Food Establishment award.

EDISON, NJ — Edison's very own Skylark Diner and Swagath Gourmet have been nominated for the Best Neighborhood Food Establishment award in the 2018 Garden State Culinary Arts Awards.
The Skylark Diner serves classic New Jersey diner fare, while Swagath Gourmet serves Indian food from the Gujarat, Punjab, and southern regions of India. To be nominated in this category, a restaurant must be an "informal, moderately priced, independently owned eatery with high-quality food that reflects the character of New Jersey and/or its surrounding community," and must be in business for at least five years.

The Garden State Culinary Arts Awards are given out by the Garden State Awards Committee, which consist of over 150 independant food writers and critics from around New Jersey. Members will vote in all categories, and the top three will be named as finalists. Winners will be awarded on April 29.
