Edison’s Troop 66 Now Has Six New Eagle Scouts

Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak presented a letter of accomplishment to the students.

EDISON, NJ — Six students from Edison recently earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

Jayant Bhasin, Manan Shah, Suvan Sundaresh, Urvaj Shah, Matthew DiSerio, and Karan Sapra earned the rank.

Over the weekend, Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak presented a letter of accomplishment to four of them.

The letter highlighted their hard work and dedication to scouting.

Karabinchak said the Eagle Projects made various improvements throughout the Township including work at JP Stevens High School, Edison Baseball Field, Menlo Park Elementary School, and the Roosevelt Care Center.

“It is incredibly encouraging to see Edison’s Troop 66, the largest in the State of New Jersey, have such a big impact on our community,” Karabinchak said in his newsletter.

“These are the future leaders of our country and I hope more young men and women join the organization.”
