Edison School District To Begin Vaccinating Educators, Staff
The school district said staff is being allocated certain number of COVID-19 vaccines weekly. They hope to get all members inoculated soon.
EDISON, NJ – The Edison Public School District is working with Hackensack-Meridian Health/John F. Kennedy Community Hospital to provide COVID-19 vaccines to educators and school staff.
The school district made the announcement on Thursday.
“Our school staff is being allocated a certain number of vaccines each week, and we hope to completely vaccinate all our staff members in the next several weeks,” the school district officials said in a news release.

The district is currently coordinating with central officials administrators, building principals and hospital officials to put out a distribution plan.
“We ask that everyone please be patient; we are a large district and will work as fast as possible to ensure vaccines for everyone,” officials said.

The past few weeks, the school district has been working along with the Mayor’s Office, Town Council and Office of Emergency Management to procure vaccines for educators.
